Vera BAPTISTA, Portugese Society of Psychodrama

Vera Valério is a mental health nurse, working in Portuguese primary care system. She is also a clinical psychologist and psychoanalitic psychoterapist, in private context, as well as psychodramatist, with weekly psychotherapeutic groups. The sociodramatic methods are mainly used in workshops (health field) and with psychopedagogy and nursing students, in higher education.

Margarida BELCHIOR, Portugese Society of Psychodrama

Margarida Belchior is Director of Sociodrama, trained by the Portuguese Society of Psychodrama. She is the Portuguese national coordinator for PERFORMERS Project. She runs teacher training workshops about Sociodrama in Education, relating Sociodrama with non violent conflict resolution, creativity and spontaneity. She also participated in several international and national Sociodrama and Psychodrama conferences and workshops. Her PhD in Education was made in a transdisciplinary domain and has as title «Learning in the Knowledge Society - between the global and the local - contributions for Peace Education». She is former Primary school teacher, Teacher educator and experienced as Project manager in the Portuguese Ministry of Education in the field of ICT in Education. Member of "Portuguese Network of Education for the global citizenship".

Inês MACHADO, NÓS Association

Inês Machado is a clinical psychologist, graduated at the University of Lisbon in 2013. Inês Machado finish her psychology board internship at Associação NÓS in a Center for Family Support and Parental Counseling, working with families with children and youth at risk. At Associação NÓS she discovered her personal interest in working with families and group interventions with young people. Actually, Inês Machado works at project GAPRIC, a community integration project that works with young people with disabilities or mental illness without further support. Inês Machado also works at four Autonomy Residences for young people and adults in disadvantage or with disability, also at NÓS.

Manuela MACIEL, Portugese Society of Psychodrama

Manuela Maciel is a Clinical and Social Psychologist, and Psychodrama Director for 30 years. She is an experienced individual, group and educational therapist. She was the Chairperson of The Psychodrama Section of the International Association of Group Psychotherapy and Group Processes (IAGP, 2003-2009). Member of the board, supervisor and teacher in the Portuguese Psychodrama Society (SPP). Manuela was trained in Psychogenealogy by Anne Schützenberger and has additional training in cognitive-behavioral therapy and EMDR. She was Founder and President of EMDR Portugal and Founder and Consultant of International Sociodrama Conference (2007-2015). She edited books and articles in Psychodrama, Sociodrama and Transgenerational Therapy.

Telma MARQUES, NÓS Association

 Telma Marques is a clinical psychologist, graduated at the University of Lisbon in 2014. She is working at NÓS Association in a Center for Family Support and Parental Counseling with families with children and youth at risk. At this department her work is focused on systemic interventions with families, trying to prevent and restore situations of abuse (physical, sexual or emotional) and neglect. She also has a particular interest in group therapy and develops children groups where emotional expression is promoted through the body and movement; and youth groups where through creative proposals and by encouraging participation, we allow the youth to challenge on the belonging and authorship.

Lucia PACO, NÓS Association

Lucia Paço has benne a psychologist since 2005, specialized in Clinical, Health and Community Psychology by the Order of Portuguese Psychologists. Family and Couple Therapist and Member of the Portuguese Society of Family Therapy. Director of the Family Support and Parental Counseling Center of the “Nós” - Barreiro Association. Clinical Psychologist and Family Therapist in this same service. Representative of the “Nós” Association in the extended modality of the Commission for the Protection of Children and Young People in Danger of Barreiro and the Commission for the Protection of Children and Young People in Danger of Moita. Clinical Psychologist and Family and Couple Therapist in private practice. Founding Member of the Association of Psychology and Community Development - PSI-Brr. Consultant in complex cases / processes in multidisciplinary teams in the scope of the family intervention with children and young people in situation of risk / danger. Participation in Congresses, Conferences and Workshops with presentations associated with working with young people at risk / danger and their families and to the proposal of expressive methodologies in the intervention with multi-stressed families.

Adília PEDRO, Portugese Society of Psychodrama

Adília Pedro is a mental health nurse, with a master degree in education sciences – specialised in education and reading. She has developed interventions in the mental health field (since 29 years), in a psychiatric hospital, mostly in psychosocial rehabilitation. Besides, she is also a bibliotherapist, systemic family therapist and sociodramatist.

Liliana RIBEIRO, Portugese Society of Psychodrama

Liliana Ribeiro is a clinical psychologist and psychodramatist. Master in Psychology, Specialization in Psychological Intervention, Education and Human Development. Post-Graduation in Clinical Sexology. Specialization in Morenian Psychodrama. Secretary of the Portuguese Society of Psychodrama and responsible for the administrative and financial issues in the PERFORMERS Project.

Sara SOUSA, Portugese Society of Psychodrama

 Sara de Sousa is an Occupational Therapist and works in the mental health national care system. She is a professor at the High School of Health of Politechnic Institute of Porto. She is a Sociodramatist accredited by the Portuguese Society of Psychodrama (SPP), which is part of the current Board of Directors, and is also a member of the redatorial board of SPP's Magazine. She has a PhD in Psychology and in her thesis has developed an intervention of educational anti-stigma sociodrama with people with schizophrenia. She also has experience of Sociodrama in social intervention with children at risk, caregivers of Alzheimer patients, prison, educational and clinical contexts (cinedrama with psychotics). She has already published articles and book chapters on sociodrama.

Celso TEIXEIRA, Portugese Society of Psychodrama

Celso Teixeira has been an Occupational Therapist since 2000, and a Sociodramatist since 2007. He works in the national health care system with drug abusers in Porto and is experienced in running Sociodrama groups with youngster, addicted people, children victims of domestic violence, unemployed adults in different settings. He teaches in High Education School for Technologies for Health from Politechnic Institute of Porto. He is responsible for the biannual magazine of SPP, Psicodrama. His Master degree is in Sexology.
